How to Market Yourself in Social Networks

The trend of social networks is fast becoming the focus of marketing for a lot of people. There are those we call internet celebrities or people that are simply famous on the internet even though they are not real life celebrities at all. This is because these people know how to market themselves. The key on how to market yourself in social networks is not by gaining a lot of friends or followers but by being true to yourself. If you are true to yourself, other people would want to continually open your blogs and your other social network accounts.

If you have the proper knowledge on how to market yourself, then you could just sit down and wait for your followers to increase. The most prevalent social network sites are the likes of Facebook, Tumblr, Multiply, MySpace, Blogspot and Titter. Most of the people that have an account here are teenagers, but if you are a person that has a business at home that you want to be publicized then you should know how to market yourself in these social networks.

Get to know other people that have the same line of business as yours. Be willing to swap ideas and experiences that both of you could learn from. How to market yourself tips are usually from word of mouth, so try and absorb what other people think of your site or your blog.

When some of your friends are already successful in their online businesses and they already have a lot of followers on their site, don’t be jealous or angry. Instead focus again on how to market yourself and do not go against the flow. You could at least celebrate with them while they are basking in the light of their success.

In social networks, you should set up your own identity and influence. Try to fit the theme of your site to what your site is talking about. For example if your blog is about nature, then try to look for or better yet customize your own theme that depicts nature. Doing this may help your readers understand the purpose of your site or blog and would make them visit it more often.

Try to find conversations that you could join. Just don’t be too talkative because some people may find you a nuisance. If you want to get recognized, start a topic of your own or post good and sensible comments to blogs of people that you are following.

Do not be a wallflower. You could build a community of followers if you think out of the box and you don’t compare yourself to others. Remember that you are selling yourself and your personality. Don’t try to over impress people, you could be liked or you could be hated but assure everybody that you are your own self.

It’s because despite the fact that most people pour all their blood sweat and tears into starting a business they fail to do the number one thing required and that is learn how to market a business. Naturally the how part usually depends on what type of business you are in but the fundamental principals of how to market your business are usually the same.

This is about driving key targeted traffic to your store or website in order to make the right offer to the right type of customer.  So exactly how do you do that? Well you start off by defining what the problem your product or service solves and highlighting the solution to those you are targeting. That’s the simple part. The sometimes not so simple part is defining your key market. Who are they, what’s their gender age occupations, what are their desires?

Let’s take my niche market as an example, I teach people how to market themselves and their businesses so who am I speaking with? Well naturally I’m speaking to entrepreneurs and small business owners just like you who want to learn how to market your business but at the route of it they all share one  common goal and that’s too succeed and make more money. So therefore I focus on the problem then offer the solution. I also define the best ways to do that in the market place. This takes some trial and error but let me skip the generic “get business cards printed up” ineffectiveness and just cut to the meat and potatoes of what has worked for me.

Let me start off by saying the biggest mistake they make is by trying to copy what they think other companies are doing. Don’t do that. This is about discovering the right way on how to market YOUR business not anyone else’s. Also keep in mind that there is no such thing as identical successes. Just because Donald Trump tells you in his book how he got rich and successful it doesn’t mean it will work for you. This is because we all posses different skills and attributes and also shortcomings. You need to learn what works for you kind of like your own business sales formula  and that is exactly how we are going to approach this.

You see the payday loan industry has grown exponentially over the last 20 years as consumer debt rises so does the demanded for short term loans. But with loan defaults on the rise Payday Loan business operators started looking for a way more secure way to earn money from those who don’t necessarily qualify for a Payday Loan and some would argue that nothing’s more secure than GOLD, right?

The Concept is Simple:

Companies offer consumers to buy their gold whether it be coins, bullion or jewelry and pay them anywhere from 30% to 90% of the actual value for that day according to the weight of the item and the price of gold for that day.

For years home-makers have looked for ways to make a living from their homes. Usually this quest starts off with the question, “How can I earn money from home?” There also seems to be a huge myth that has existed for years, that you can Earn money from home packing envelopes. This is simply what is known as a ponzi scheme. Where I recruit you, you pay me money for a “kit” which basically consists of you having to go out and recruit others and so on and so on. This is also why 98% of those in network marketing and MLM fail. Because there products or services are lacking real value. Not all mind you but most.

The solution to this problem is resolved in a little saying that my mother taught me as a child. “Fall back, spring forward”. Now the great thing is if you hear it once you will never forget it. Oh but what if I mess it up and think it’s fall forward, spring back? That problem is quickly remedied simply by saying it out loud and determining whether it even sounds right. Tsunami experts have issued a warning to Hawaii and the west coast of the United States including California and Alaska. Watch this Japan Tsunami Video.

Reporters in this Japan Tsuami Video have stated that the destruction that this tsunami has and will continue to cause is of historic proportions. Watching this type of thing unfold always makes my heart sink. I pray that the Tsunami loses it steam by the time it reaches Hawaii.
